Dance Together Seniors: Move to Music
A free six-week dance program for adults 55+ with dance artist Katya Kuznetsova. We will meet at the Richmond Hill Public Library at 2 pm every Monday. Each session will include a gentle warm-up and stretch followed by movement activities that can be done seated or standing (mobility devices welcome). The music includes Brazilian drumming, Cha-Cha-Cha, Swing and Waltz! No prior dance experience is required.
Katya Kuznetsova is a professional dance artist with a focus on nurturing human connection and building community through dance. As the founder of the Dance Together Project, she creates dance with “non-dancers” in a way that embraces vulnerability, builds confidence and opens access to the joy of human connection. She develops exceptionally fun and inclusive dance programs for adult learners with a mission to facilitate enjoyable and engaging dance experiences for everybody, regardless of skill level or variations in physical ability.
